2015 Carlow Arts Festival: “topic” hazelnut
The hazelnuts were amazing this year, a mast year. It inspired me! I made three stone (Kilkenny Limestone) hazel nuts this autumn. Two have been given away for 50th birthday presents. Kilkenny Limestone: hand-polished, roughly 20 cm in length. 2016: two more were made, one sold at the Writers Festival in Borris.
