I’m involved with the Drummin Bog Project, which is a voluntary not-for-profit community education project to restore the only raised bog in Co. Carlow. Situated in the South East of Ireland, close to the River Barrow and the historical site of St. Mullins, The Drummin Bog Project, was formed in 2015 to restore and preserve this unique natural heritage.

To raise funds for insurance and ongoing costs we have organised an ART fundraiser where over 100 artist have kindly contritubed a postcard sized art work which will be up for sale at Visual Carlow on Saturday 2nd December 2017, between 5.30 and 7.00pm. I’m sure I will get lots of inspiration for my sculpture work from the bog and its flora. I think spindle seeds and pods will be my first bog inspired work!!
